Colleen L. Wilkening

Colleen L. Wilkening, 97 of Aurora, passed away Sunday October 30, 2022, at Brookdale of Lisle. She was born October 25, 1925, in Sandwich, IL, daughter of Clifford and Mathilde (Bernard) Jordan. Colleen enjoyed helping people throughout her life, if any one was sick or needed a hand with something, she was right there. She was a very kind, caring and giving person and was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Colleen is survived by 2 daughters; Merry Dreier and Carolyn Jeane Mindar; 3 sons; Bill (Gail), John (the late Lola), Joe and her very dear friend Marsha Wilkening. Colleen enjoyed spending time with her 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill of 42 years, a son Mark, a brother Glen (the late Ruth) Jordan and a sister Undean (the late Russell) Phares.
