Paredes, Fidel G. Age 28, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 5:31 a.m. in Sparta Community Hospital Emergency Room, Sparta, IL. Fidel was born on December 17, 1983 in Aurora, IL a son to Pablo Paredes, Sr. and Maria E. Juarez Fidel was of the Catholic faith and worked as a laborer for Nashville Material Supply, Nashville, IL. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and dearly loved spending time with his family, especially his children, Gabriel and Jessalyn. Fidel is survived by his father, Pablo Paredes of Aurora, IL, mother, Maria Juarez of Chicago, IL; longtime girlfriend, April O'Dell of Pinckneyville, IL; two children, Gabriel and Jessalyn Paredes of Pinckneyville, IL; grandmother, Petra Davila of Texas; grandfather, Jose Juarez of Mexico; four brothers, Javier (Kim) Paredes of Aurora, IL, Pablo (Sonia) Paredes, Jr. of Chicago, IL, Daniel (Natasha) Paredes of San Diego, CA, and Adrian Paredes of Beaufort, South Carolina; and numerous dear nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Children of Fidel G. Paredes.
