John T. Soderdahl

Soderdahl, John T. 86, of Haines City, FL, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in Florida. He was born March 28, 1927 in Batavia, Illinois to Oscar and Margaret (Streit) Soderdahl. John was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army Military Police on May 10, 1946. He married his wife, Stella Soderdahl, on June 20, 1953. They lived in Batavia, IL until moving to Florida, where they started a plumbing supply company in Big Pine Key, FL. They retired in 1988 and moved to Haines City, FL. John is survived by his sisters, Genevieve Seraphin of Elburn, IL and Patricia Hanson of Geneva, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Stella in 2012; his parents; three brothers, Leroy C. Soderdahl, Donald Soderdahl and Kenneth Soderdahl; and three sisters, Helen Anderson, Ruth Modaff and Agnes Theis. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at River Hill Memorial Park Interment Chapel. Funeral arrangements are being handled by THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N.
