Lawrence Miller

1975 - 2021

Lawrence "Larry" Miller, 46, of Aurora, IL passed away suddenly due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on September 7, 2021. He was born on February 2, 1975 in Aurora, IL the son of Donald and Patricia (Knur) Miller. Larry grew up in Aurora and graduated with the class of 1993 from West Aurora High School. After high school he began working with Geneva Park District as Park Maintenance and has been a dedicated employee for the past 25 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed his job beautifying the parks in Geneva. He loved riding his motorcycle, time spent with his beloved dogs and time spent with his co-workers and friends and he always found much enjoyment smoking meats in his smoker. Blood donation was near and dear to his heart and he spent countless hours giving back. Above all things he loved his family, especially his wife and children and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Dawn Miller; children, Zach and Alysa Miller; mother, Patricia Miller; brothers, Andrew (the late Catherine) Miller and Edward Miller, mother-in-law Susan Gibbs, sisters-in-law Corine Krueger and Christina and Julia Gibbs. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends also survive him.

He is preceded in death by his father Donald Miller.

Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will be private. In honor of Larry, please consider blood donation.
