I am so saddened to hear about Len's passing. I just found out from my co-worker. He was such a sweet man. I'm so glad I gave him a hug the last time I drew his blood. I've been on medical leave since then. He was in my prayers and in my children's special intentions for bedtime prayers. I truly hope he didn't suffer too much. We will continue to pray for his family and friends. God bless

Deed and Laird
Bob remembers the 58 White Chevy
the many different Ag trips, great times
some fun some not. Bob says always
would call each other by their Dads
names, fun memories.
Karen-I remember Lenny playing piano
and a tap dancer he was pretty
good, so long ago. Having a difficult
time writing this seems like the days
are numbered. We are all so Blessed
to have been able to see each other last
year (50 reunion).
Bob and I still remember your Wedding Day.
Our Prayers are with You both at this
very difficult time Bob says call if
need anything.
God Bless
Karen and Bob

Deed and Liard, I am so sorry, to lose Lenny as a great friend. Lenny was always there for me and gave me hope in my time of need. My only wish is that I could have returned the kindness he showed me in his time of need. I will always remember his coffee shop stories and for being golf buddy's. Set up a 9am tee time in heaven,so we can play when I get there! Don't forget your yellow range water balls. Larry Mattison

Our prayers and sympathy to Deed and Laird and family. We are so very sorry to hear of Lenny's passing. We will be forever grateful for Lenny's wonderful and constant friendship with Larry Mattison during his cancer treatment.Larry said he was a major reason why he kept going when he would get down. Lenny would call him and make a tee time for golf every week to get Larry out. He will treasure that friendhip forever. How ironic that the same disease would take Lenny and so tragically fast. May God give you the strength to get through this most difficult time and treasure all those wonderful memories of such a caring man.

From a former Yorkville High School graduate (1963): So many happy memories of Lenny and his infectious and mischievous smiles. I'm sure Lenny will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Never knew how we ended up being friends, but we did. I guess we could blame it on a rusted out 55 Chevy that I wrecked before we completed it. I cherish the last few years when Mary and I got together with him and Deed! Prayers for Deed and the Devick family. Len, we will see you down the road.

Lenny and I rode the bus into Chicago May 10th 1967, then took the train to Fort Leonard Wood and drank a few beers on the way to the Army. We both were helicopter mechanics and saw each other in Vietnam. I'll keep the memories but you will be missed!!!
