LeRoy Kipper Obituary
LeRoy J. Kipper, 85, of Aurora, IL passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 2, 1930 in Aurora, IL, the son of Daniel and Helen (Poss) Kipper. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was employed by AT& T for 37 years as a repair technician. He enjoyed woodworking, wood carving, gardening, winemaking and sharing his talents with others. LeRoy was deeply and quietly proud of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Rose Kipper (Lane Ito) of Ft Worth, TX, Brenda Kipper (Dennis Tafoya) of Wilmington, NC and Patti Berke of Sandwich, IL; 3 sons, Dan (Angie) Kipper of Oswego, Bob (Kristin) Kipper of Greer, SC, and Gary (Sue) Kipper of Sandwich; 11 grandchildren, Zack, Daniel, Cameron, Alexa, Abbey, Kaylyn, Kendal, Jordan, Brock, Haylee and Collin; one sister, Florence Rossler of Aurora, and one brother, Eugene (Kathleen) Kipper of Batavia; and two sister-in-laws, Gladys Kipper and Carolyn Kipper. He also had a special love for Cindy Suddreth, Sue Wilcox and Taylor Minnis who provided loving care the last 5 years. LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Vern Kipper and Anthony Kipper and 2 sisters and brother-in-laws, Bernadine (John) Diederich and Helen (Roy) Balou. Visitation will be Monday, May 11, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway Montgomery, IL. Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Annunciation Church 1820 Church Road, Aurora, IL. Burial will follow at Marywood Cemetery in Aurora. I am so sorry to hear about uncle Leroy. I was looking him up on the internet and came across his obit. I would surely have attended his funeral had I known he passed. He was my godfather and I will miss him. Love to all of you,

My Heart is sadden at the loss of LeRoy . Death leaves a heartache no one can heal , love leaves a memory no one can steal . I was truly Blessed having him in my life . He'll be forever missed but never forgotten .

I first met LeRoy back in 1973 when I was coaching in Aurora. He was very supportive. Always level headed. Always positive. I visited him last month and nothing seemed to change. He was the same loving person now as he was then. I want to wish the whole family (especially Dan and Bob) peace in this sad but glorious time!
Those were special moments back then. I will never forget those moments and LeRoy Kipper!!!!
And THANK YOU Dan for letting me visit your dad. I will never forget how special that was.
I could go on and on. But I won't.
