"Budda"

Marco "Budda" Ordaz passed away January 25, 2008 at the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago. Mario,Maria, Lilly, Mario Jr.

Light a candle for those we mourn.

Into a new life they will be born.

Do not look for them at the gravesite.

They are somewhere else radiating their beautiful light.

They have gone to a new world where there is no darkness, no pain.

Their light and essence will always remain.

Light a candle for those who have left this mortal place.

They are free to travel through time and space.

When we think of them, they are near.

When we sit in a beautiful garden. Their voices we hear.

When we listen to a divine symphony,

We close our eyes, their faces we see.

Light a candle for they have not really gone.

With each flickering flame, in your hearts they will always belong.

Love,

Onesimo, Antonia,Esther,Lucy,Gilbet,Sergio, Roberto & Sylvia

To the Ordaz family,
You raised a very fine man, a person that any mother or father would be proud of. To the people that live in North Aurora, they lost a very dedicated, professional and loyal employee. To his family and very close friends we lost a very loving husband and caring friend. For the North Aurora Fire Department they lost a true brother. He is now watching over all of us, and will be remembered in our hearts and prayers forever.

Tio Mario and Tia Lulu...I am sorry that I wasn't able to make the actual funeral. I hold dear the memories of when we would gather in the front room of my parents house during christmas and other holidays. My best memory is going with you and Tio Mario to see him and Mario Jr. wrestle. Thank you so much for raising a wonderful man that made a real difference in life. Marky was a great guy..you both did a wonderful job..Love always, Sandra Chavez

Marco,
I remember the last time we were hanging out - we were at North Beach having some drinks and you and Vaughn were wearing the same color shirt and you know me - I had to be the one to point it out! You guys have always been the best of friends.

God needed another Angel in Heaven and he chose you. You will forever be remembered for your big heart and your big hugs! I will forever hold you close to my heart.

To the Ordaz family,
I worked with Marco at Earthmover Credit Union and he was a well liked guy. He liked to call everyone "Boss" and a day never went by that he did not make me laugh. He was great supporter when my mother (who was married to an Aurora firefighter)battled cancer. Marco will be missed - my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I was close with Marco, Omar, Nathan and Vaughn back in high school but unfortunately lost touch as a lot of people do after we graduated. Marco touched the lives of so many people and will be greatly missed. A loss like this really needs to remind us that the time we have is so short and we need to make the most of it while we can. My sincerst condolences go out to Marco's family and his friends.

My brother has left us. And already the world feels like a darker place.
But he laughs, he laughs at us from heaven. Because he knows this is not the end.
We will see each other again, and again his smile will brighten our spirits. I will miss him until then, and think of him often. When I am down, I will think of that laughter, coming from heaven. And I will look up and say; "Okay, my brother, I understand. We will see each other again...but not yet...not yet..."
