Patricia L. Zentmyer

1943 - 2018

Patricia L. Zentmyer 74 passed away on March 20 2018. She was born September 21 1943 in Aurora IL the daughter of the late Marcus and Helen (Smith) Hemmens. She worked for 30 years as a cashier at Eagle where she was well known and much beloved by her customers. Some would wait in a longer line just so they could have Patricia ring them up and talk with her. She loved to be around people most of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patricia also enjoyed spending time in Minocqua WI when she could get away. She was a longtime member of Harvest Chapel in Sandwich. Patricia is survived by her sons Bruce (Dawn) Zentmyer Brian Zentmyer and Mark (Alicia) Zentmyer; her grandchildren Devin (Kristen) Zentmyer Amanda (Chris) Zentmyer Nicole (Gus) Diaz Lukas (Anna) Zentmyer Jakob Zentmyer Morgan Zentmyer and Samantha McPeake; her sister Mary Ann Deiters; 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother in law Carrol Deiters and special friend Herb Wilig. Visitation will be held on Saturday March 24 from 10 AM until time of service 12 PM at The Healy Chapel 332 W. Downer Pl. Aurora IL 60506. Burial will take place at Lincoln Memorial Park.
