Samuel Michaels Jr.

Samuel Andrew Michaels Jr., 53, of Paw Paw, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at OSF St. Paul Medical Center in Mendota. Sam was born in Elmhurst, Illinois to Samuel A. Michaels Sr. and Ruth (McKee) Michaels. He grew up in southern Illinois, loving to ride dirt bikes and play football. Once out of high school he decided to follow in his father's footsteps and become a second generation Ironworker. Sam worked 25 years out of the Ironworkers Union, Local 393 in Aurora Illinois. Sam is survived by both parents, Sam and Ruth, two sisters, his wife Deann, four children, four grandchildren, and many more family and friends. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Torman Funeral Home, 510 Flagg Street in Paw Paw Illinois, 61353, on Wednesday February 22nd 2017 from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to his wife Deann at 3152 Chicago Road, Paw Paw Illinois 61353.
