Carolyn Conti Obituary

Carolyn Conti January 11, 1954 - November 27, 2024 Rosamond - Carolyn Ann Conti (Vallee) was born January 11, 1954 in Abbeville, South Carolina to George J. Vallee and Betty Ann Harriet Gibert Vallee. As her father was in the Air Force, she lived in Florida, Colorado, Azores Portugal and California. Upon the death of their mother, the family moved to Rosamond at which time she was married Richard Conti. They lived in Rosamond and she pursued a career in nursing. Carolyn had one child, Erica Ann Conti. She retired from nursing at AV Hospital after 31 years of service and enjoyed her retirement with her daughter and grandson, Aidan Joseph Alexander Conti. Carolyn always had a big heart and would help anyone in need. She has touched the lives of many. Recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, she fought a valiant battle only to be overwhelmed by the treatment. She lost that battle on November 27, 2024. Carolyn is preceded in death by her mother and father and survived by her daughter, Erica and grandson, Aidan; sisters, Janet Maree Grenleski and Margaret Elizabeth DeLano; numerous nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral arrangements are pending.
