Guy Mulalley Obituary

Guy Mulalley, 87, of California City, CA, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, in San Diego. Born on September 24, 1937, in San Francisco to Larry D. Mulalley and Maude Turner, Guy was a devoted brother to Harry Mulalley and a proud veteran who served 20 years across the USMC, USN, and USAF. He was known for his kindness, sharp humor, and deep love for his country and family. Guy was a beloved husband to his late wife Catherine, a devoted father to Cindy Sutter and Carrie Mulalley, and a loving stepfather to Coleen Johnston and Cathy Denson.

He was cherished as "Grandad" by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will remember his warmth and laughter. Guy enjoyed coffee with fellow veterans at Crazy Otto's and meals at Foxy's Landing, where his legendary appetite was matched only by his love of storytelling. A passionate fan of the 49ers, NASCAR, MMA, and bull riding, he lived life with spirit and sincerity. A service celebrating his life will be held Friday, May 2, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. His legacy of love and loyalty lives on in all who knew him.

I loved him very much he was dear to my heart and a good friend when ever needed. I loved him as my own father as he was my stepfather and always straightforward. I hope to see you in heaven where we can all get together and praise God. I love you Guy and I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. By the way,I didn't know that you had a relapse with the cancer they kept it a pretty good Secret for what reason I will never know . It's okay Dad I forgive them you are now blessed by God being at his side no more suffering. It's really beautiful in heaven and you get to see Mom and your brothers and sisters what a blessing I can't wait to see you and all. I know you're really surprised to met Jesus. How wonderful is that? Oh yeah, tell Grandma I said Praise God! I love you Grandma maude. "
We had a lot of fun times and conversations that I am thankful for you Grandma Maude and God bless you!
