Wednesday, October 9, 2019 Laconie Emanuel passed away at the age of 58 in Los Angeles, Calif. Laconie was born April 23, 1961 to Anthony and Vera Emanuel Laconie graduated from Quartz Hill High School in 1978, where he earned a football scholarship to the University of Washington. After college, he briefly served in the U.S. military.
As a boy, Laconie was adventurous, funny, sweet loved to sing and make everyone laugh As a adult he enjoyed spending time on the beach, witnessing to everyone about the love of God and and speaking proudly of his children. We will always remember his angelic voice, hysterical impressions, infectious smile, his unconditional love for his family and most important his love of God.
Laconie was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Emanuel. He is survived by his mother Vera Emanuel, wife Robbie Emanuel; children, Chloe, Miya, Alexandria, Jonathon, Malcolm, and Anthony. Grandchildren, Jaydin, Marianas, Santiago, Marion, Heaven, Zoey, and Anthony. 4 brothers, 4 sisters and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

The memorial service will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at Livingstone Church Cathedral of Worship 37721 100th St. East Littlerock, CA 93543 at 11:00 a.m.

My absolute dearest sweetest funniest amazing Song bird of a dad.
This marks the fourth year you've been gone from us. It's still as fresh as it was the day you left the world is changing around us and I'm content knowing that you're with God. Thank you for all the lessons in the laughter and the memories you've given us on this planet they are never forgotten.

Rest easy in the hands of the Lord and know you are missed by so many may you protect and guide us through our days and protect us through the light that you fathered us with.

As I look at this I start crying all over again. It's as fresh as the first time that I heard that you were gone. There's not one day that doesn't go by that don't ever think about you Dad. I make sure that there's a light lit in our house just in case you want to visit us. I play all our songs all the time and remember how we used to laugh. There is never a date that goes by that I don't miss you you will always missed and there will always be a light for you here I love you Daddy-O.

What would I like to say about my beautiful Charming Ever so grateful Dad....!
I miss you so!!!
I miss the times that we get to sings together and harmonize. I miss the words that used to speak to me regarding the Lord. The jokes... the laughter.. the tears.. the meals we shared.

Laconie was a student of mine at QHHS. I remember him well even after 35+ years, and am so sad to hear of his passing at the young age of 58. As a kid, I knew him to be sometimes a handful, always bright, energetic, and challenging. He had a certain something about him that drew folks in, a kind of impish lovability that was undeniable. My deepest condolences to his family.
