Philip GUENTHER Obituary
Phil was born in McCook, Neb. and raised in Oberlin, Kan. where he grew up on their family farm. After serving in the Air Force, Phil moved west in 1955 settling in Lancaster, Calif. and worked as a jet-engine technician at Edwards AFB. He retired as a crew chief in 1985.
He enjoyed square dancing for many years as a member of the Desert Twirlers and was a 25-year season ticket holder in the front row of his favorite baseball team, the Lancaster JetHawks.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Elizabeth (Betty), their three sons Glenn (Veronica), David and Jeff (Angela) along with ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday Dec. 3, 2022 at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Palmdale, Calif.
