Alan Sattler Obituary

Sattler, Alan James
56, of Phoenix passed away on January 11, 2015. Alan passed unexpectedly Sunday evening of an apparent heart attack. His father Roger Sattler passed last June. He is survived by his mother Beverly, brother Robert, sisters Vicky (Joyce) and Lori Taylor (Terrence), niece Amber, nephews T.J., Chris, Adam, and Mitchell, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind many close friends, too numerous to name, who made his life worth living. He was a total drama queen, completely obnoxious and stubborn as hell, but we would put up with it all and more to have him back. (He was a better brother than I ever could have hoped for, and my best friend. I don't know what I will do without him.) A viewing will be held Sunday January 18 at Bueler Mortuary, 14 West Hulet Drive, Chandler, from noon to 2, with reception to follow at the Quarty Residence, 610 North Tamarisk Street, Chandler.

Alan was my neighbor. I am very sad to hear of his passing. He was very kind and had a wonderful smile. He will be missed. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Alan was funny, crazy, unpredictable, and good. A winning combination. And an honorary Dillon. We will miss you, "Alan dear".

You left us too soon. You were a pain in the butt and a trouble maker but that's why everyone loved you so much. I will miss you my friend. May you rest in peace...

Uncle Alan there are so many things I want to say. So many things that will be left unsaid. Getting the call you were gone will always be one of the worst phone calls I will ever get. I have many many years of memories but no where near enough. I am glad my kids and husband got to meet you. Life will never be the same without you in it. Thank you for being such an amazing Uncle. I will forever hold on close to your memories in my heart. I love you.
