Alice Fritz Obituary
Loving wife and mother, 62, passed away on Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 at her home in Glendale, due to a long battle with Alzheimer's. Alice was born in Phoenix on April 10th 1949, the eleventh child of John B. and Mary Ellen (Webster) Wood's sixteen children. She is survived by her husband William, daughter April (Vince) and granddaughter Ashley Rizzi, son Jeffrey (Samantha) grandson Jacob Fritz; siblings Jonna Daly, Kathryn Griffis, Bill Wood, Mary Dale, Pat Wood, Barbara Downing, Sheila Wood, Jean Mariano, Joe Wood, Rosie Detterline , Jim Wood, Paulette Sisson and 45 nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by her parents and 3 loving brothers John, Richard and Robert Wood. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM, Sunday, Aug. 14th at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave. Glendale, with Rosary at 7 PM. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, Aug. 15 at West Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix. Condolences may be offered at www.chapelofthechimesmortuary.com
