Allan Platt Obituary
ALLAN STANLEY PLATT, 92, passed into the hands of his LORD JESUS CHRIST on September 7, 2017 at home in Phoenix, AZ. Born January 5, 1925 in Portland, OR to Alvin Platt and Blondina Dougherty. Al was an operating engineer for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 38 years in Eugene, OR and upon retirement in 1986, he moved to Phoenix. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Lillian and 3 daughters, Lorrie Platt of Phoenix, AZ; Arlene Platt of Eugene, OR; Linda Platt Hrebec of Scottsdale, AZ and grandchildren, Tiffany and Ben. A private family service was held at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery in Scottsdale, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley of Phoenix, AZ. www.hov.org or 602-530-6900

To the Platt Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
