Ann Abendshan Obituary

Abendshan, Ann
Ann, age 63, was born into Eternal Life in the early hours of May 29, 2011 after losing her painful battle to Pancreatic Cancer. She was born January 30, 1948 in Derry City, Northern Ireland. As the oldest of eight she immigrated to the United States on the Queen Mary as a child, settling in Long Beach, California, where she lived for the next 54 years before retiring in Gilbert, Arizona. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 42 years, Ron; her daughters Siobian and Heather, her grandchildren, Justin, Morgan, Austin, Kennedy, Madisyn and many cousins, nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly. Ann was a Breast Cancer survivor who dedicated her life to family, friends and helping others. Her family takes comfort in knowing the she was a woman of strong Christian faith and is now in Heaven with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Myles and Bridget Kyle and her brother Robert. A memorial service will be at 10:00 am, Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 East Broadway Road in Mesa. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lund Family Hospice Home, 1510 E. Flowers St, Phoenix, AZ 85014. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care, Mesa (480) 830-4422 Condolences may be made at www.mariposagardens.com.
