Annie Ruth Cannon



LANDRUM, SC-- Annie Ruth Fowler Bradley Cannon, 90, formerly of Arcadia, now of Landrum, went home to heaven on Saturday, August 4, 2007, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born June 11, 1917, she was the daughter of the late John Robert and Sallie Waters Fowler and the widow of the late C. D. Bradley and James P. Cannon. She is a member of Arcadia Baptist Church and attended Fairview Baptist Church in Landrum. She retired from Mayfair Mills after thirty-five years of service.



Survivors include two daughters, Shirley (Randolph) Bradley Strange of Campobello, and Carolyn Bradley Edge Medlock of Landrum; six grandchildren, Terry (Sheila) Strange, Randy Strange, Debbie (Wayne) Strange Frady, Emily (Eddie) Edge Hawkins, Teresa (Frankie) Edge Yarbrough, Ricky (Debra) Edge; eight great-grandchildren: Erik and Audrey Hawkins, Kristin (Greg) Hawkins Franklin, Stephen Frady, Amanda (James) Frady Gray, Tamara and Jesse Yarbrough, Jordan Strange, and Cory Edge; three great-great-grandchildren, Andrew Hawkins, Dylan and Allie Franklin; two step-great-grandchildren, Dereck Yarbrough and Jonathan Foster; two step-great-great-grandchildren, Carson and Callie Yarbrough; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, William (Grace) Fowler, Melvin (Lorene) Fowler, Leroy (Sue) Fowler; and a sister, Maybelle (Roy) Fowler Jones.



Visitation will be 6-8:00 PM, Monday, August 6, 2007, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel conducted by the Rev. Joey Burnett and the Rev. Reggie Parker. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.



Pallbearers will be Erik Hawkins, Stephen Frady, Jordan Strange, Dereck Yarbrough, Steve Fowler, and Kenny Damren.



The family is at the home of her daughter, Carolyn Medlock, 104 Melrose Avenue, Landrum.
