Anthony Snelling Obituary

Snelling, Anthony Glyn
Anthony Glyn Snelling of Mesa passed away June 3, 2011. Anthony was born and lived the first six years of his life on The Lake of the Ozarks, MO. His family then moved to Preble County, OH and subsequently to Arizona. Anthony was retired from the Railroad and the State of Arizona, spent several years in acting, played the guitar and sang professionally, a Reiki Master and Teacher and an award winning poet. A loving father and brother, Anthony was survived by his brothers Fred Snelling (Faith) and J.N. Snelling (Darlene), sister Nadine Stoia, children Lesa Carman (Donnie), Tamara Hughes (Jim), Frank Snelling (Laura), and Letitia Rohr (Patrick), 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 17th from 2PM-5PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower, Phoenix, AZ 85014. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home (480-832-2850).

Dear Tish and Family,

I'm so sorry for the loss of your Father. I never was fortunate to meet him, but so enjoyed reading about all his accomplishments. Sounds like he was such a creative person, singing, Reiki Master and Poet, Wow!! Please know you and yours our in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time in your lives.
