Armand Rivera Obituary
Armand "Sonny" Rivera, 90 years of age passed away on June 4, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife, Gerry, his daughter, Rosemarie Sesma (Edward), his sons; Armand Jr. (Faye), Greg (Jessica) and Randy (Carly) Rivera, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sonny was preceded in death by his son, William Rivera. He served in the Army in WWII attaining the rank of Tec Sergeant at just 19 years old. He lived all his life in the West Valley area, working in the agricultural industry. Sonny will be remembered as a kind, generous, hardworking, loving man, and will be truly missed. A Gathering will be held from 10-11am Friday, June 9, 2017 with a Funeral
Service beginning at 11am at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd, Peoria. An Interment Ceremony with military honors will follow at 12:30pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix.
