General De Leon was a great lawyer, judge, and military leader. He inspired me early in my JAG career and he was always willing and able to help me and others. It was my honor to serve with him. With deepest sympathy to the De Leon family

Dear Sylvia, Louis and the entire De Leon family: We learned of Armando's passing from the latest edition of the "Arizona Attorney" and were very saddened to hear the news. Armando was so gracious to our family during and after our Air Force years. From our time with him in San Antonio and later in Tucson, his leadership and friendship were instrumental to JAG-office success and social camaraderie. We will always remember his can-do spirit and his smiling face. With love and sorrow,

My deepest condolences are with Armando's family. Armando was gracious, smart, funny, respectful, considerate, and eager to help. He was a giant help to the younger attorneys. I enjoyed speaking with him and sharing great stories.

I am very sorry to hear of my cousins passing. We spoke several times over the phone about the paternal family history but never met. My father was Carlos Jose Ross.
My hope is that his heavenly transition was calm and pain free.
Peace and blessings to his wife and family.

I'm sadden to hear of my paternal cousin's passing. I recently reconnected with my father's relatives and members of the Rivera family. Armando and Sylvia were sweet and loving. They welcomed my daughter, Ariana, and I into their home on N. Swan. They told us about our family history and we filled in gaps of family history they weren't aware of. My cousins Art Leon and Frank Bennett also helped the family reconnect. I am one of the granddaughters of Mama Cuca (Refugio). My abuela and bisabuela lived in Nogales and in Barrio Anita (Tucson, AZ). Cousin Armando, I Thank You, I love you and you won't be forgotten.
