81, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on August 16, 2016 in Phoenix. A.J. is survived by his children: Robin Verdugo, Larry Verdugo and Tammy Jones.; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers: Mike, Ruben and Robert Verdugo and a sister Carmen Ruiz. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isadore and Emilia Verdugo, son Richard and brothers Gilbert and Frank Verdugo. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2121 S. Rural Rd., Tempe with Interment to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix. Condolences can be made at qohcfh.org. Arrangements entrusted to Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home, Mesa.
