Averitt Scott Obituary
88, of Globe, AZ passed away on Nov 11, 2016. Alan was born in Pomona, CA and grew up on a ranch in Willcox. He served as a master sergeant in Korea 1950-1951 until he was wounded. He established a drilling contracting business and served both private homeowners and the mines for many years. Alan's greatest love was his family and always had time for his friends and golf. He was a wise, kind and generous man who was greatly loved and respected by all who knew him. He will be missed by all. Alan is survived by wife, Freda, of 62 years, daughter Ann (former son-in-law Carl); son Gary (Penni); grandsons Gregory (Erin), Brian (Allison), and Adam (Caroline), and 3 great-grandchildren, Wyatt Alan, Teresa Ann, and Marshall Franklin, and brother Jimmy (Kathy) a niece and 3 nephews. Visitation Friday 6-8:00 p.m. Holy Angels' Church-Globe
Funeral Mass Saturday 10:00 a.m Holy Angels' Church-Globe. Arrangements by Lamont Mortuary
