Benjamin Thomas Obituary
77, Ben Thomas passed away peacefully in his home on November 11, 2014 Ben was born in Oxford N.C. on Jan 20, 1937, the 1st born to Benjamin and Queen Ester Thomas. Ben lived most of his life in Jersey City, NJ and relocated to Arizona in 1991. Ben was preceded in death by his parents, and second oldest sibling, Ballard. He is survived by 3 sons, Barry, Basil (Torria), Bradford (Yoko), 2 brothers, Chips (Carrie), Bryon (Mary), devoted companion Barbara, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, extended family members and a host of close friends. Ben was an honorable God fearing Man and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial services to be held on unspecified date.

It was a beautiful thing how my father's (Dad is seated in the car) brothers (my uncle Byron and uncle Bernard) waited on him hand and foot. They loved their brother until his last day with breath inside of him. We get so lost worrying about things that at the end of it all when its said and done won't mean anything. These brothers stuck together and they all went to Arizona to be with there brother over 20 years ago (my uncle Bernard...now the patriarch of the family) to be together. All families go through rough patches especially in these days and times. But it was a wonderful thing seeing this kind of unconditional love. They were with their brother the entire time all the way to the end. Love you Dad rest well.
