Dr. Shostack, was our family doctor in Etobicoke. He was thoughtful, smart and kind. When he started his practice from his home on renforth drive, he brought my daughter into the world. Kind and gentle, and did house calls, a thing of the past now..never had a doctor since that could hold a candle to dr. Shostak.
I remember when my son as in Nursery school and I had ro get a note from him for school....next thing I knew his child was also enlisted in the school

Loved dr Shostak ...his family must be very very proud of him. Remember always.

I am terribly sadden by the death of Doc. He was my physican for 24 years and I just learned of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you, his family. May he rest in peace. He was a funny, gentle, kind man yet he made you understand the important things in life when it came to your health. I will always remember him.

It was only by accident that I came upon the obituary for Dr. Shostack. As a young pharmaceutical representative in the early 80's I always thought of him as a physician of great character and compassion. He was one of those rare individuals that had a true presense to him. His memory and impact will continue to live on in the hearts of those that he impacted long after his worldly existence is gone.
