I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Spurlock's passing. I lived in Tempe for many many years and I always heard the name Spurlock. It has always been said with much respect.
I went to Kyrene Grammar, and Tempe High. I believe one of your sons taught me to drive. My name at the time was Carrol McCullough. I am afraid I backed into a telephone pole in a beautiful car.
I hope this memory is pleasing to some of you.
The name of spurlock was a wonderful name to have in a family.
Sincerely yours;
Carrol McCullough (Thorn)
Grand daughter of Lee McCullough and Nora McCullough, and daughter of Carrie and Omar McCullough
Grandpa McCullough had a orchid ranch on ole priest road, and we lived on the corner of 14th st and roosevelt in Tempe Arizona.
thank you so much for being part of Arizona's history
