Billie Jay Ralle, 76, of Phoenix, passed away May 25, 2011. Words that come immediately to mind when describing Jay are devoted, caretaker, friendly, fantastic and fun. Many others quickly follow such as reliable, lovable, helpful, handy and always there for us when we needed him. Jay exemplified the meaning of devotion. All relationships in his life were measured in decades rather than months or years. As a young man Jay came to his mother's aid when his father died and continued to care for her until her passing. He deeply loved his brother and sister and their families and was dearly loved in return. Countless hours were spent flying kites, riding mini-bikes and motorcycles, and just having fun with his nieces and nephew. And we can't forget the hundreds of birthday parties for three generations of nieces and nephews that Jay always made sure to be a part of. Jay's devotion to his "lady friend" Fern was nothing short of extraordinary. He was friendly to everyone and had many enduring friendships throughout his life. Even his career that spanned over three decades was spent with the same company. This fantastic man will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind his sister-in-law Charlotte, three nieces, LaRae, Sherri and Erin, his nephew Bill and many friends.
