I was honored as a young cyclist and young volunteer to know Buddy. We served together on the MS150 Best Dam volunteer committee for several years. He was a wonderful and generous soul and his light will forever shine in my heart. Marilyn, please accept our thoughts and prayers. With heartfelt sympathy, Shannon and (as named by Buddy) 'Bicycle Michael'.

One of my most favorite memories of Buddy was back in 1998, I was the incoming President for the SEV WCR Chapter - and we were working on our budget. He could not believe that we would be able to reach the figure that was posted. We did and he always commented about how surprised he was!!

Another favorite memory was that Buddy always paid for a complete year - of monthly meetings for SEV WCR in January. For several years this created confusion-until it was decided that we would institute a "buddy pass" for all members. Today, at any SEV WCR meeting you will be asked if you want to purchase a "buddy pass"!

To Buddy's family - put your faith in God - as Buddy is now there - with a smile on his face and a song in his heart!

I was honored to know and work with Buddy on many committee's and shared stories and laughter at more events than I can count. In the 15 years I knew him he was always there to lend a helping hand,(or his legs)and when his good deeds and hard work were recognized, he was always very humble. He will be sorely missed. God bless your family in this time of sorrow.
