Carroll Pettit Obituary
Carroll was born December 9, 1936 in Gray County Texas. He served in the Navy for four years. In 1968, he opened Carroll's Foreign Car Service in Glendale where he remained a successful sole proprietor for 43 years; succeeded by his son Scott. He is survived by his wife Jan, daughters Jeannine and Shannon, his son Scott, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Just like his birth, Carroll died at home on August 7, 2011. Although he is gone, he has left everyone with the knowledge of how to be an outstanding and strong person with a soft shadow. Services are to be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 6830 W. Thunderbird Road, Peoria, Az. on Sunday, August 14 at 11 AM.

Dear Scott, and all the Pettit Family,
We did not know Carroll all that well but thru our Son's friendship with his son Scott we know what a wonderful person he was. I know he will be missed by so many, but you have all those beautiful memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Daryl & Shirley Ballew

My uncle, the best splinter-picker of all time. It didn't matter whose mom was around, if you had a sticker in your foot they sent you to Carroll to fix it.
