Cedric Blunt Obituary
35 of Surprise, passed away on April 13, 2009. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 at South Mountain Mortuary, 7007 S. Central Ave., Phoenix, Az. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 10:00 am at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 1401 E. Jefferson St., Phoenix, Az. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memory Cemetery. Services entrusted to Universal Memorial Center/South Mountain Mortuary.

Ced....There are so many memories Michele and I have about you and Jett. We are going to miss you in so many ways! You are a huge part of our "Do you remeber back in the day" stories. May God be with you!

Ced, to say you will be missed is a great under statement. When I was small I remember coming over to your Grandpa house and playing with you guys. Then we moved one block from ya'll and our friendship took off. I can remember summers of me,you, Gerald and Steve. hanging out doing all kinds of things. Playing basketball in the morning and until the early morning. Us in your bug rollin out. We shared a lot in common, but we were totally difference in a lot aspects. You know Ced I would sit back and watch how you handle certain things with ease and ask myself why wasn't I blessed with that ability. I learned a lot from you. Ced, I can remember us going to Mexico and that little guy coming out of that shop and calling you Shaquille O'Neal. I remember laughing until we cried and could hardly breath. I remember you driving your bug on to my parents lawn just to have Pops tell you to stay off the grass. I remember you coming over to the house and Y-vette doing these crazy dances that made us crack up laughing. I know I could go on for days. Ced, you may not be here in the flesh, but you warm my heart and soul everyday. Ced, I promise to you as your friend and cousin just as you will keep a watchful eye over your family I pledge to do the same! Ced, it's hard not having you here but I know your up there shining on us all. Until we meet again Love You. JETT

I was blessed to have played basketball with Cedric. We became very good friends, and spent a great deal of time together. He was one of the kindest and most gentle people I ever met. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Miss you Ced!

Ced I really can't believe you're gone man. It was only about a month ago you and Jennifer were sitting down and just hanging with Selvana and I. This just seems so unreal! The Blunt Family,
Our sympathy and loving thoughts of our dear Cedric. Our son Jason and Cedric were friends in HS and lived for basketball. I had the privledge of chatting with Cedric last year @ a SMHS basketball game. He was truly a caring individual who touched my heart with many HS stories and memories. Sissy and family-
I am so sorry to hear of Cedric's passing. He was such a cute kid and I will always remember how he was happy to see me and followed me around. I didn't know him much as a young adult but am sure he was a fantastic kid, Monica and Jessica always speak very highly of him and loved him very much.
