Ciriaco Garcia Obituary

Garcia, Ciriaco
Ciriaco Garcia was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was born June 19, 1931. This year he turned 83 and in June we gathered around him for one final group picture, slice of cake, plate of rice and beans. We gathered to remember our roots, our beginnings, our mother and grandmother. Ciriaco Garcia raised his family here in Phoenix, Arizona, saw most of his grandchildren settle down here and finally died here with that same family gathered round him. Ciriaco Garcia loved three things, God, his family and the wife he was married to for fifty years, Cecilia Garcia. He is survived by his six children, fourteen grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren. He lived a long life and his legacy is his family. Funeral service to be held at 11:00 AM on August 24, 2014 with visitation one hour prior at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85027. Burial at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary. Please visit www.phoenixmemorialmortuary.com to leave written or audio condolences for Ciriaco's family.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Hno. Ciriaco Garcia. Everytime I visited him he sang along with all the hymns and chorus' from church and he was always amazed that at his age he could still remember all the words. It was a privilege to have known him and to have been his Pastor. I will miss my visits with him, but I know he has been reunited with his wife in that far away land called Heaven. My sincere condolences to his children and grandchildren and the entire Garcia family. God bless. Rev. Adam Magana
