Cole Michaels Obituary
Corporal Cole Francis Michaels of USMC Reserves, beloved son of Joel and Cindy Michaels of Tempe, passed to the loving hands of God on July 8, 2012. He is survived by his parents and siblings, Lauren Brennan and Bailey Michaels. Cole was born in Phoenix on January 2, 1986. He graduated from Arizona Lutheran Academy and was employed as a manager for Quik Trip since 2004. Visitation will be at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave., Tempe 85282 on Friday, July 13 from 6 pm-7 pm. A service will be conducted immediately following the visitation at 7 p.m. A celebration of Cole's life will be held on Saturday, July 14 at his parents' home, 1935 E. Hermosa Dr., Tempe, 85282 from 1-4. Memorial contributions can be made to Emmanuel Lutheran School, 715 W. Southern Ave., Tempe, 85282 in honor of Cole Michaels.

I did not know Cole personaly but I know that he will be missed and the loss of his family is felt by the many Marines here in Tucson.

I remember working with Cole one night and he left to go home early. 10 minutes after he left I received a phone call from him saying that he hit something and he is leaking radiator fluid and he was just down the street. When I showed up he had a Frys shopping cart wheel punctured in his radiator. When I asked him why did he hit it he said, "because I thought it would move out of the way." Such a nice guy, I loved his personality and his attitude was always positive. I can't believe you are gone Cole. I hope you are at peace my friend. Save me a seat buddy!
