David, you will forever be in our hearts. Thanks for all the kindness you showed to us and others. We prayed for your healing to keep you here a little longer, but God had other plans. He gave you a healing that's Everlasting, standing before the presence of the Almighty. I can only imagine...

I wish to pass on my condolences to the Dong family. We at the Disabled American Veteran's office knew David to be a proud and intellegent man who loved his country and was appreciative of his Air Force retirement. He has served his country with honor from 1959 until his recent illness. David was the Historian of DAV Chapter 8, Arizona and served on the Executive Board for many years. Mr Dong was one of the longest serving members of the East Valley DAV Chapter. We will miss his soft voice and bright smile. I Salute you Sir! May his family find peace and comfort during these difficult times. May you rest in peace David Dong.

I am so sorry for our loss. David and were in the first 5 grades of school together. We played on the same baseball team from 10 years old until high school graduation. He was part of those, baseball crazy kids from Mesa. He had a great sense of humor and kept us in stitches on all of road trips with the team. David was also a very hard worker at the family store. I remember when was only 8-10 years old working and helping out the family. We loved to play, but work always came first. The world won't be the same without David. Our prayers are with the family.

We were shocked to hear about Dave's passing. Jerry knew he had been sick but says he saw him not too long ago at a DAV meeting. They usually went to the State Convention together. We are unable to attend the services as we will be in Overgaard visiting our son, but extend our sympathies and prayers to the family.

I have fond memories of David. He was a quiet man; not a man to boast. He served his country in the military and he had a strong work ethic. He will live on through his five sons and his five and one-half grandkids. Good bye, David. Safe journey. Love and Peace to your famly. Jack and I will keep you and your family in our prayers.
