Dear Elise, Steve, Kathy and Linda,

You don't know me, Elise, but I am a friend of Dave's from high school. He and I stayed in touch for almost 50 years and he meant a lot to me. I know his last years were difficult ones, and I'm glad he had you standing by him. I wish I could have seen him one last time. He was there for me in a very difficult time of my life and I will never forget him for that.
