David Rollins Obituary
74, of Morristown, AZ passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014. He was born January 8, 1940 in Shelby, North Carolina to Kenneth and Mary Rollins. Dave enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1956 after graduating from Shelby High School. After serving his four-year term, Dave obtained a position at North American Rockwell, where he worked on the Apollo Rocket program. Dave also worked at General Dynamics, F&B Manufacturing, and C&C Manufacturing. Dave loved the outdoors, especially Lake Pleasant, where he worked for 10 years. Dave is survived by wife, Linda; daughters, Cari Bellairs, Kim Daulton, Cindy Slaughter; sons, Greg Rollins, Mark Peters; sisters, Phyllis Bivins, Margaret Van Dyke, Mary Sue Cline, Cherry Michael; brother, Thom Rollins; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Carl Rollins; and daughter Gayle Walczyk. A Celebration of Life will be held at the
church where Dave was raised, Hoyle Memorial United Methodist Church in Shelby, NC on June 7th, 2014. Condolences can be sent to www.thompsonfuneralchapel.com.
