Dejan Golden Obituary
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved DJ on May 7, 2016. Dejan was born May 14th 1986 in Show Low Arizona. She was currently attending college to become a registered nurse. DJ was a loving wife and devoted mother of 7 young children. She is preceded in death by her Aunt Donna Jean Thompson and her Grandmother Kitty Burris. Dejan is survived by her husband Braxton Golden, her children David Vales of California, Jera Rosa of Gilbert, Jaycee Golden, Terrance Golden, Zella Golden, Raelyn Golden and Kaliyn Golden all of Mesa. Her parents Katrina and Michael Milofsky of Ahwatukee, her father Gary W. Cross of Ahwatukee and Step-Mother Rebecca Willard of Paradise Valley. Her brother's Jason Milofsky of Ahwatukee and Michael Cross of Phoenix and her sister's Kayla Cross of Phoenix and Sarah Milofsky of Ahwatukee. And several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Please join the family in a celebration of her life at the Pleasantview Baptist Church, 4922 S. 15th Ave Phoenix AZ 85041 on May 21st at 1:00 p.m. A reception will be held immediately after the memorial at the same facility.

I will always miss mom no matter what has or will happen. You are always here in our hearts even if you aren't here with us. God has sent you to watch over us all and to watch over your children. Dejan Bo You are and always will be one of a kind. I've known you for you for over 20 years the pleasure was all mine and yours as we both know. You are one of the strongest women that I have ever known and also one of the prettiest (smile). I remember the day you called me (Dad) and I asked you what did you say. You replied, your my Dad. So right then and there I realized that you have adopted me and that made me feel so special. Then you met my wife Jean and it was ONNNN ... You two hit it off like you've known each other for years. We loved your children and Braxton (B) as if we where really blood relatives and we are in Gods Eyes . Say Hi to Samson and Da'lil'ah for us we are sure that they know who you are (smile). We will always be thinking about you, because you are the daughter that we never had go figure (smile). Remember that you have always left your footprints on this earth. DJ , I'm sorry and very sad that we never sat down and got to know each other more, but I knew that no matter how many trials and tribulations you had faced had made you a good mother and a tough cookie! I hope that after a long battle your finally at peace and that you'll look after your beautiful children like a guardian angle. Those we love never say goodbye, but walk with us forever. Dear Friends and Family, I'm so sorry for the sudden and way to early passing of beloved Dejan. The last couple of weeks has profoundly demonstrated just how amazing and wonderful Dejan is and what a blessing her time here with us has been. Her life more than lives on not only with all of her beautiful children and the generations to come - but, also with her unselfish gifts of life that she willingly gave so that many others are now able to continue with a better quality of life and love. Please know that Dejan is now joined with other missed loved ones in Heaven - They give us our everyday spiritual strength that we need until we are all together again.
Rest peaceful Dejan Louise & shine down on those that love you.

I am still having a difficult time believing this is real. We have all lost a wonderful friend, sister, daughter, cousin, aunt, niece, grand baby, human being from this world. But yet, she still lives! In her babies, her husband, her parents and all of our hearts. She watches over us with joy, knowing we will be strong and get through this hard time, for her, together. Her spirit lives on. And I am very grateful to have had know her in this life. She was a great sister and a loving mother and a best friend.... Until we meet again lil sis

My dear sweet daughter, I miss your smile, your hugs, your silly jokes. I listened to the song I dedicated to you when you were just nine years old. Rod Stewarts Forever Young. I would never have known how much those words would mean until today. You will always be forever young. My heart aches in your absence. I expect you to walk through the door any minute, but the flowers from your memorial are a subtle reminder that you are in heaven now.
