Dennis Frye Obituary

Frye, Dennis
Passed away Tuesday morning March 22, 2011. A longtime personality in Alpine, California, he had a cheerful, joking nature and loved to chat and joke with friends, clerks and cashiers throughout Alpine. Dennis was born in 1941 and was raised on Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale, Arizona, but moved to San Diego in 1960 to marry Charlotte Bostrom. Dennis is survived by his wife, Charlotte Bostrom Frye, and children, Tanner Frye (Karen), Darcy Logan (Josh), Darla Frye and grand-daughter Katie Jo Logan. Also surviving is sister Nancy Parks (Dan) of Scottsdale, Az. and a brother Jim Frye and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and nieces who will miss their Uncle Denny. He loved them and was delighted by them all. He was preceded in death by his parents Vomen and Nancy Frye. At his request his ashes will be scattered in his gladiola patch at Skye Valley ranch. The family is planning a gathering to share memories and tell stories for Sunday May 1st at his family ranch. Also in Arizona on April 16, 2011 at 11:00 am at Valley Presbyterian Church 6947 E. Mc Donald Dr. PV, AZ there will be an informal Celebration of Dennis's Life with lunch and time to visit and share stories.

An awesome man with a Big heart. Mr Frye will be so missed. 4-H and fair days, always willing to help or give advice when you needed it. Of course a big hug when you really needed that pick me up. God must have really needed someone special. You will be missed Mr.Frye thanks for the memories. Love,Shannon
