Dennis Edward Regan, 73, passed peacefully on Monday, March 29, 2021 at his home in Dunkirk Maryland. He was born on August 17, 1947 to Thomas and Leona (Heim) Regan. All who knew Dennis will forever miss his incredible sense of humor. He could make anyone laugh with his stories and jokes.

Dennis grew up as an Air Force "brat" living throughout the country and world. He graduated from Technical High School in Springfield Massachusetts in 1965.

• Dennis proudly served in the US Air Force where he specialized in data processing. During his years of service, he contracted an internal ailment that eventually led to his demise and was given an honorable medical discharge.

• Following his Air Force service, he worked in the banking industry as a vice president of data processing. His highly entertaining and effective speaking skills led to work as a corporate training specialist for time management and database software manufacturers. He made learning fun.

Dennis married Joyce Bowman in 1975 in Chandler, Arizona. They were happily married for 25 years when Joyce passed. He then married his long-time friend Annita (Nina) Graybeal Regan in 2000 who loved and cared for him until his death and survives him in Dunkirk, Maryland.

Dennis was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and in retirement occasionally served as an usher at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C. Dennis enjoyed all sports, being quite proficient at golf. He was also a dedicated fan of the Boston Red Sox, especially Carl Yastrzemski, and the Washington Redskins.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Joyce, his younger sister Margaret Regan, and stepdaughter Amber and stepson Oliver from his second marriage.

Dennis is survived by his stepdaughter Nikki Aldana of Phoenix, Arizona and sons Patrick Regan and Mitchell Regan of Buckeye, Arizona, from his first marriage, and stepdaughter Sheri Odell of Prince Frederick, Maryland from his second marriage. He is also survived by a sister Colleen Cameron of Locust Grove, Virginia and a brother, Tim Regan of San Jose, California.

He also leaves grandchildren Kristopher Regan of Colorado, Tyson Regan, Maylee Regan and Jordan Regan of Buckeye, Arizona.

Per his request Dennis will be reunited with his first wife Joyce at Queen of Heaven cemetery in Mesa, Arizona on Friday April 16 @ 1:45 PM followed by a celebration of his life with family and friends.

The world is a much less humorous place without you Dennis. You will be forever missed.
