I was sorry to hear of the passing of Dr Campbell. He was a favorite MCCD board member of mine when I served as Vice Chancellor HR. Don would always stop my office, ask how I was doing, and tell me one of his jokes. He will be missed.

To the Campbell Family:

It is with my deepest sympathy to hear of the passing of Dr. Donald R. Campbell. Dr. Campbell's leadership, mentorship, and stewardship will be missed not just within Phoenix, but throughout Arizona.

Dr. Campbell was an advocate for those unable to advocate for themselves; and he was a voice to so many who could not speak for themselves. He gave of his time, talents and resources unselfishly.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Campbell family during this difficult time.

Sincerely,
Janet Felton

Dr. Campbell was a great public steward who served with humility and humor....when Board meetings would run long, he would remind the trustees that he had to get home to see Star Trek.
