Doris Diacon Obituary

Diacon, Doris A.
born February 7, 1938 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ernest and Lois Huddart, passed away on December 3, 2014 in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 76. Doris was an only child and at a very young age, moved to Catalina Island with her family, where her father worked at the Wrigley family's estate. Doris was raised in the Southern Baptist faith, and her father was a Deacon at the Southern Baptist church. Doris started playing the piano when she was 12, in many churches and at weddings and funerals. When Doris finished high school, she went on to one year of Community College in Sacramento, CA and then on to California Baptist College in Riverside, CA, for one semester. With only some college courses under her belt, Doris held many occupations including Telephone Operator, Bank Teller, Glass Company Owner, Real Estate Agent, and Apartment Management (Certified HUD Specialist). Doris was prececed in death by her parents and her husband (Billy), and is survived by her Daughter: Karri (Kevin) Barr; Son: Jeff Diacon as well as her three grandchildren Eric, Bryan and Alex. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, with a funeral on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 6:00pm at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd, in Mesa, AZ.
