Dorothy was married to Norman Lykes for approximately 22 years. She had four step children. I remember Dorothy as supremely creative. Through knowing her my experiences of life were trebled. It was not always an easy mix of our two families. At the same time, I have always been deeply grateful to have had Dorothy in my life. I think of her with love. I send lots of love to any of her family that reads this. Warmly, Heatherose

Dorothy (Lockett) Lykes was a very special person in my life. I feel honored to have known her. I learned so much from her that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. There is a special spot in my heart that will hold her memory close to me forever. My sympathies to her family who were so fortunate to have her for 80 years.

I send love and sympathy to Linda, Debbie, Brian, Lisa, Kelly and all other of Dorothy's family. Dorothy lives deep in my heart. She gave me a gift of support and creative inspiration that remains significant to me even to this day. I had many wonderful conversations with her and love her very, very much as did my father. I wish you all very well during this time of great transition in your lives. Love, Heather
