To the Bidot family,

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I graduated with Shawn and known Eric always to be a very happy, life of the party person. I don't know why but for whatever reason I still remember him smiling through out all these years. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I went to PV High School with Eric. I have many happy memories of him and the way he made us all laugh! I'll always remember the song he used to sing to us: "I'm Eric B, number 33, the best running back in history!" I last saw him at our 10 year HS Reunion and we laughed about that song. My favorite memory of him was from my 16th birthday party. He danced in a hula skirt to a Beach Boys song, with my little sister and 2 of our friends as back-up dancers! That was Eric... always ready to have fun and make people happy. I know there is a space in his family now that can never be filled -- but I hope that hearing about so many happy memories will ease the pain, if only a little.

My sincerest condolences,

Jennifer Lampasona Tatum

Keryn and family, I know he says dont be sad but you cant help to not be sad, because he was a special person and everyone that has had the privilege to meet and know him, will miss him dearly. We met him on his first day, in the hospital, when he was first diagnosed. Even being faced with such a huge challenge in his life, he always had a smile, even when he was nervous or worried about a new test or drug he had to take. He would actually re-assure his family and friends, that it's going to be ok. His attitude was admirable and I remember, my thought, when he went for his first transplant, if anyone can "beat" this, Eric will! Then it came back. He told me, "they said it's harder the 2nd time and the chances are less for success" he just smiled and said " they still dont know me very well, do they?". Once again, his disease just wouldn't stop. Everyone of us, since the beginning of his illness, worked so hard to make him well, but Eric worked even harder to live. Keryn, I know you are very proud of Eric for such a valiant fight he gave, but he wouldnt have been able to do it without you and Mason by his side every step of the way. He cherished both of you with every breath he had. our prayers are with you now and forever,

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Bidot family. I had not seen Eric in a very long time but he was a very special part of my life for several years during high school. I can remember just sitting on the phone with hime for hours listening to The Doors and discussing the songs. He was a gift to everyone who ever knew him and I will always remember him as a fun loving 15 year old who called himself "All-Pro Bidot". With Love!

Please accept my deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts during your greatest times of sorrow. I had the privlidge of knowing Eric through a mutual acquaintence of ours, Jeff and working with him at the grocery store.
