Erika S. Hornsleth, formerly of West Chester passed away at her home in Scottsdale, Arizona on November 5, 2008. Erika was a 1994 graduate of Henderson High School and a 1998 graduate of East Carolina University. Erika has been employed by the Vanguard Group since 1999. She was relocated to the Vanguard's Scottsdale Campus in 2000. She was recently appointed to the position of Relationship Manager. During high school and college summers Erika worked as a Nanny, Swim instructor at Malvern Prep Swim School and Pennypacker Country Club where she was also an Assistant Club Manager. She is survived by her father, Paul H. Hornsleth of West Chester, PA, mother, Priscilla Ramsey Simmons of Pottstown, PA, brother, Kristopher P. Hornsleth & wife Jennifer of Cumberland, RI, sister, Lindsey M. Hornsleth of Pottstown, PA, niece & nephew, Kathryn & Ryan, stepmother, Deborah O. Hornsleth of West Chester, PA, stepfather, Charles Barry Simmons of Pottstown, PA, stepbrother, Michael Walsh of West Chester, PA, stepsister, Megan Walsh of West Chester, PA, Godfather, Robert T. Hornsleth of Drexel Hill, PA and Godmother, Karen E. Ramsey of Bridgewater, NJ, Also survived by Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life to be held at Our Mother of Good Counsel Chapel located on the grounds of Malvern Preparatory School at 418 S. Warren Ave, Malvern Pa. The service will be at Thursday, November 13th, 1:30 PM.
