Dear Gladys and family,
Pastor Moen preached his best friends funeral, Pastor Whitcomb in 1974... that was when I had the honor to meet him. He greatly influenced my life with his wonderful sermons; laughing and crying. He has gone home now to be with his Savior and his best friend. You are in my prayers.

My dearest Glady and family,
Where could I ever begin to share the feelings and memories of my heart? I can say there were no greater Heroes in my life than Pastor Moen and yourself. You touched my life in so many ways and I have never been the same. I will keep you in my prayers as you journey on earth, until one day, Pastor will be waiting for you on Heaven's shore to welcome you home. I love you and I cherish the journey we have shared. Dearest Moen family,

Our family extends our love, gratitude, and deepest sympathy.
Through Pastor's vision, the production, "Heavens Gates/Hell's Flames at Roch AG -- many brought to Christ including some of our family members. Forever grateful.

Our hearts are saddened, though the
sermons, kind words, smile and great
laughter will be with us always.

A great tribute of treasured memories
to an amazing man of God.

May God Bless,

Pat Lane and family

Dear Glady,

We were new to the Rockford community and to First Assembly in 1983 and Pastor Moen made us feel so welcome. He even invited Al to play tennis. He left an indelible impression in our lives with his commitment to evangelize the lost, his love for people, his zest for life, his consistent Christian walk and his pursuit of excellence to honor Christ. We will forever be grateful to God for giving us such a wonderful Godly leader. It will be a blessed day for us to meet again in heaven, singing praises to our King.

Dear Glady,
Pastor Moen was such a blessing to our family and I remember when I was pregnant with our first child, I would sit in the service and every time Ernie would start to preach, my baby would begin to move and kick every time Pastor would raise his voice or get excited about something he was preaching on. We have great memories and a special place in our hearts for Pastor. We know, that we know, that we know, that Pastor Moen is celebrating in heaven even though we will all miss him very much.

In Sympathy,
Chris and Paula Ellefson

I attended First Assembly as a new believer, and what better leader to have than Pastor Moen. The church was always packed and exciting. I remember one of the songs we'd sing (mostly on Sunday nights) was "When We See Christ". It will be worth it all, when we see Jesus. Life's trials will seem so small when we see Christ. One glimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase. So bravely run the race till we see Christ. Pastor has finished the race and has seen his Savior.

My sympathy to the Moen family.

What can we say, Pastor Moen was one of the finest men we have had the pleasure to meet. We were fortunate to sit under his teaching and I personally had the pleasure to lead worship with him at bible studies around the community. I was always amazed at how he could remember everbody's name. He was one of a kind and a very "Special" Man of God to us. We will see you soon Pastor.

Dear Glady, He was the best! I'm sure he's hiking up his pants and wiping his brow as he's looking around. He's probably preaching to the angels as well! We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to learn from him.

Heaven is richer today! I had the privilige of working with Bro and Sis Moen through Western Bible College, what a wonderful couple. Bro Moen's greatest desire was to produce Preachers to go out and preach the gospel. I am honored to have served with one of the greatest. I will miss his phone calls.

Dear Gladie and family,
Pastor Moen will certainly be missed! We remember the powerful messages, packed services and large numbers responding to the altar calls. What a legacy! Dear Gladys and family,
Jeff and I fondly remember the interim period Pastor Moen helped Evangel with. His ability to lead a seemingly ordinary Bible study turned out to be highlights we'll never forget. Now he's graduated with the class of 2008, and his honors here on earth go with him. Sorry we can't be there for his homecoming celebration. God bless and keep you. We'll keep you in our prayers.
