F. Monaco Obituary
16, 2006. Earl, the oldest of seven children, was born in Anaconda, Montana on September 6, 1917 to Joseph A. and Maria Assunta Monaco. He was preceded in death by his parents, baby sister, Angela, brother, Elmer and daughter, Stella Boquilla. He resided mostly in Anaconda and Missoula until retiring to Sun City. Earl distinguished himself as an outstanding agent for the New York Life Insurance Company and was a recognized life member of the NYLIC Million Dollar Round Table. He was a Past Exalted Ruler and Ritualistic Team Coach for the B.P.O.E. and a member of the Kiwanis Club in Missoula. He also enjoyed volunteering for crowd control at numerous golf tournaments in Arizona. Earl is survived by his wife, Naomi; son, Earl F. Monaco; daughter, Janis M. Herron; brothers, Clarence A. and Joseph G. Monaco; sisters, Virginia A. Blaskovich and Margaret M. Frey; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11am Friday October 20, 2006 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Our Lady of the Rockies, 3100 Harrison Ave., Butte, MT 59701. (406)782-1221 or a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Sunland Mortuary.

What a class act...Earl and I worked together for New York Life in Missoula in the late 70's and I knew him to be honest and caring as an insurance professional. Later, in the early 80's, I was the Manager of the Elks Club in Missoula and knew Earl as a sponser for membership in the lodge and a leader of our group.
Not many people make such a lasting impression...Earl set the bar high. I was surprised to see the notice in the AZ Republic and was pleased to see it repeated in Missoula...there are so many people who will miss this special man...our thoughts are with the family and the memory of our good times together will stay with us.

I'm so sorry the hear of Earl's passing he was a special man to my family for many years in Missoula. My father Jack aways thought of Earl as a special friend and after his death Earl always checked in on my mother Dorothy. He will be missed by all of us. Prayers to the family.
