Florence Lockhart Obituary

Lockhart, Florence Loretta
84, of Mesa, Arizona passed away June 11, 2009. Flo was born on December 2, 1924 in Clinton, Iowa. She lived in Marengo and Cedar Rapids, Iowa until moving to Arizona in 1987. She is preceded in death by her husband George, her daughters Patricia and Nancy, and son Robert. She is survived by her brother Dennis Hoy of Marion, Iowa, her sons Larry of Chandler and Curt (Kathy) of Mesa, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Flo lived her entire life focused on God, faith and family. She was especially proud of being Irish. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Monday, June 15 at 6:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary Vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Mortuary 1562 E. Baseline Rd. Mesa, AZ. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, June 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church 141 N. Macdonald, Mesa, AZ. Burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Flo's family requests donations are made in her memory to Hospice of the Valley. Arrangements are entrusted to Queen of Heaven Mortuary.
