Cannata, Francis "Frank" Richard
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Frank lived a life of kindness, generosity, faith, and love for his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Sue Seidensticker Cannata. He is survived by his children Candace, Cathleen, Rick and his wife Debbie, Kevin and his partner Nancy, Keith, Steve and his wife Mary, and Susie and her husband Richard; grandchildren Christina, Ricky, Tyler, Sam, Jessica, Jack, Joe, Michael and Ben; cousins Paul Cosentino, John Seidensticker, Betty Mould, Gretchen Hildebrand and Peggy Ruffer; brother and sister in-laws Jim and Sally Dorsey; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends Faye Berk, Joan McGoldrick, Patti Hartley and countless others. Born on April 19, 1932, Frank was raised in Columbus, Ohio, by parents John William and Elizabeth (Cosentino) Cannata. He attended College of the Holy Cross and graduated from Ohio State University. Frank and Sue married on August 29, 1953. He served as an officer in the United States Air Force. In 1963, Frank and Sue moved their family west to Paradise Valley, Arizona. Frank, and his partners Jim Dorsey and Tommy George, operated their own produce business for three decades. Frank will be remembered for his selfless devotion to his family, friends and community. A memorial mass was held on Monday, May 23rd at Blessed Sacrament Church. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, May 26th, from 4 to 5 PM, at Nuerenberg Hall, Westminster Village in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Westminster Village Foundation, 12000 N. 90th Street, Scottsdale, Arizona 85160.

To the Cannatta Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
