Frank Crerie Obituary
91, of Phoenix, passed away on June 15, 2012. He was born in Leonia, New Jersey, on September 11, 1920 and served in the Navy as the Captain of a sub chaser during WW2. Frank was a well-known and respected global natural resources entrepreneur who enjoyed the excitement of creative business ventures in which he was involved until the day that he passed. His main hobbies were painting and history. Many of his paintings are found in private homes and offices in Manhattan and Boston. Before his passing, he lived 3 years with his son, Stephen, in Phoenix who was instrumental in his health and welfare for the remaining years of his life.Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, and is survived by his sons, Stephen and Chester, and 4 grand children: Shawn, Russell, Grant and Briely. A private service was held on Friday, July 6, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.

I knew that Frank was a blessing and I didn't acknowledge what he was trying to do for me but now I do I know you were a gift from God trying to guide me and I hope it's never too late to let you know that now I know who you are thank you pray for all the blessings I wish my eyes would have been wide open when I was a part of your bubble

I worked for Frank for a few years doing landscaping for him he loved his roses he had a beautiful beautiful yard and he loved his dog I had no idea he had passed until I looked him up . Steve I know you love your father and he didn't show a whole bunch of Love towards you in person but it was obvious that the man loved you I hope you're doing well and I would love to see you or at least talk to you

Almost 10 days to the day after your death Frank, Jonh HoOey and I, and my wife Claire has a lovely ebvning at home in Toronto reminscing about White Shield , Doreal, Mundoro and many ohther aspets of our shared lives; you are fondly remember still, by us all. There are some people one meets in life that stand out - Frank is one of them. Never the less it is the small things that leave the biggest impression. When asked how he could live in Arizona - so far from the sea - he pointed at the desert in the night and said "it looks like the sea at night". Never lost for words or thoughts. A lasting memory.
