Sorry to hear about Fred's passing. Played basketball and baseball with him at VRHS and was his catcher when he pitched.

Dear Fred,

The lasting memory of you is from my childhood: my uncle Fred, the actor, who lived a glamorous life in Europe. As an adult, I always thought that we would catch up at some point – the idea that you would pass away before we did was never a possibility.

Catana and Patrick, I am sorry for your loss. Distance and obligations prevent me from attending Fred’s service, although I greatly wish I could.

Fred's warmth, humor and the twinkle in his eye will continue to lighten my thoughts. He chose an extraordinary mate in Catana, and together they have nurtured an extraordinary son. It has been a privilege and a joy to know them.

Mrs. Tully and Patrick,

We wanted to send a sympathy card but do not have your new address so hopefully you will see this. Mr. Tully was a very nice man and we were so sorry to read of his passing. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you both.

You wll always be in my thoughts and in my prayers. I have missed you.

"I will die this summer, and there's nothing I can do about it," Fred said a few weeks ago. "It's a lovely time of year," I said to him. He smiled faintly, and agreed. His passing was peaceful and gentle, as was his life. He is now cradled in God's arms, and that is a good place for him to be.

Our love for him is eternal. Catana
