Gil and Helen Georgeff on their wedding day
Pamela Georgeff Hopper
March 2, 2013
My father, Anthony, was Gil's oldest brother. He was a special man in so many ways, but above all he was a great family man. He loved his wife and children more than anything. He was a great athlete, an even better educator. His family will miss him forever.

My mom Dilba, is Uncle Gli's sister.
You were a man of Great knowlage and wisdom.
When we get toghter at at family Gatherings and I talk about sad things I heard on the News you had a word of wisdom.
A poem:
Uncle Gil, love for the Feild of Education was the one only thing you would know.
No matter what it took either in a text book or your Awesome style of teaching.
it was just that and only thatbecause nothing else mattered but to see that beloved student go up on stage and get thier deploma.
I bet and know you would lay awake at nights to find a way just to get to the student young minds.
And you most defently did.
What more can I say for time and space would fail me to just begain to sya a whole endless list of greta things as an and Uncle and a Educator

Principal Georgeff,
Thank you for showing us how a sweet man combined discipline and kindness. Also after your retirement, I cherish our semi-regular chats at the Independence Center. You are a model educator and man. Few in the occupation of education could have given a group of studentsmore. We will miss you always and celebrate what you taught and way you displayed how we should grow.
